As a Housekeeper with us you will be responsible for supporting the wider team by providing a safe and clean environment, where activities are carried out in a person-centred approach. 

121 Watleys End Road is a 14 bedded nursing home in Winterbourne providing a home to people with complex nursing care needs, who require a high level of expertise from their staff team to deliver the individual support packages in a holistic, person centred way that maximizes their quality of life and enables them to integrate with their chosen communities.

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
  • To work on cleaning tasks delegated by the management team day to day following established cleaning schedules.
  • To work within Trust policies on Infection Control to maintain a clean hygienic home that is a pleasure for the People we Support to live in and staff to work in.
  • To contribute to the development, evaluation and review of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
  • To be responsible for ordering of stock and maintaining good levels of cleaning equipment and PPE in house to maintain a high standard of Infection Control.
  • To involve the People we Support wherever possible in all decisions made that will affect them and to maintain dignity and respect in all interactions with them.
The successful Housekeeper will:

  • Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills to enhance the lives of the People we Support and provide you with job satisfaction.
  • Be committed to delivering a high-quality service and to support the aims of the Trust
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
